Mental Health and the Black Community
Session: This is a virtual town hall meeting on collaborating to develop solutions that improve quality of life for African American and underserved populations (specifically parents, children, youth and communities in Jacksonville’s Health Zone 1.
Participants include representatives of Indigenous community organizations, service providers, faith- leaders and institutions and volunteers with concerns about the targeted populations and their communities. They will provide assessments, perspectives and recommendations on quality-of-life issues, sharing supportive resources, and self-help-strategies in galvanizing, mobilizing and inspiring collaborators to get and stay involved.
