Faces of the Alcazar Exhibit
This exhibit elevates 20th century working-class employees serving the rich and famous at Henry Flager’s Alcazar Hotel. Through letters, documents, and snippets of magazine clippings, visitors are witness to immigrant sojourns where one is seen but not heard.
Faces of Alcazar is a poignant visual of humanity at its best, expressing transient dreams and aspirations as they seek a better life in a class-dependent society.
