Join thousands of enthusiastic rodeo fans for an event that highlights local and national African American rodeo competitors. The Rodeo will feature bull riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, ranch bronc, steer undecorating, ladies barrel racing, relay races and the crowd favorite mutton bustin’ & calf scramble for the little ones.

So, round up your family and friends and join us for the “hottest show on dirt.” The Jacksonville Black Rodeo is fun and exciting for the entire family and rated triple “E” Educational, Entertaining and for Everyone. The Rodeo runs on average 2 hours 15 mins.
Celebrate Juneteenth! The importance of the date to African American communities has grown over time. Juneteenth was first celebrated along the Gulf Coast and primarily in Texas and adjacent areas. The importance of the holiday grew as Black people relocated from these places over time. Where Black Texas went, so too did Juneteenth. All things Juneteenth!
Special Tribute to the Buffalo Soldiers will be held prior to the rodeo.

At what age will a ticket be required for a child? Children 2 and under are admitted into the event for free with a paying adult as long as they are seated in their parent’s lap and not occupying a seat. All children 3 years of age and older will be required to have a ticket.

What is the refund policy? This event is a non-refundable, non-transferable rain or shine event.

I purchased tickets online. How do I use them to get into rodeo? After purchase, you receive an email with a link to printing your tickets at home or your can add to your ticket to your apple wallet. You can print your e-tickets at home which will display your purchase provided QR Code per e-ticket and bring your printed e-ticket to be scanned at the entry gate.
I purchased e-tickets online but I cannot find them. What do I do? You can contact the Rodeo Ticket Customer Service at 1(602) 688-9906 during office hours 10AM to 4PM MST. They will help you locate your e-tickets which can be emailed to you.
I purchased e-tickets online but I need to change my tickets for another performance. There is no exchange or refund on ticket purchases.
I need to use cash to pay for my tickets. What do I do? For ticket purchase using cash, please call (602) 688-9906 to speak to a rodeo team member or come to the Ticket Box Office which will open 3 hours before the performances.
